🎯Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical aspects of micro optical subassemblies for innovative optoelectronic front-ends.
• Create and implement new packaging concepts for next-generation devices.
• Define mechanical component specifications in collaboration with internal and external suppliers.
• Lead product development for optoelectronic components.
• Design test adapters and fixtures for product testing.
• Collaborate with global Coherent sites, external partners, customers, and suppliers.

💼Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical module design, test adapter and fixture design using 3D-CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of material properties and international mechanical standards.
• Working knowledge of optoelectronic components and electronic circuit design is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; basic skills in German are advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrates assertiveness, flexibility, trustworthiness, and a willingness to travel occasionally.
