🎉 At #DigitalHubKL, there is never a dull moment! Recently, we organized a Mario Kart gaming competition 🎮 at the office, bringing back nostalgic memories of playing Super Mario during our childhood. On the 18th of July, colleagues gathered for a friendly battle, showcasing their racing skills and competing for the title.   The event received much attention, with participants registering to join in on the fun. Laughter filled the office as everyone engaged in thrilling races. The shared experiences of excitement, friendly competition, and joy undoubtedly brought us closer together, making it a truly memorable time for all 🙌   As the final race concluded and the champions were crowned, it was evident that the Mario Kart event successfully achieved its goal of providing a quick, delightful and rejuvenating break for all participants. We extend our special thanks to the #DigitalHubKL Fun and Sports team for their dedicated efforts in organizing this competition. Digital Hub China is proud to welcome six new trainees!🎉👏 During their first week of onboarding, the trainees were introduced to their respective leaders and teams and given a tour of the office area by Frank Wu. Frank also took the time to explain the organization's structure and shared key elements of BASF's company culture. Over the 18-month program, these trainees will have the unique opportunity to rotate through three distinct roles within different teams, tailored to their individual interests and aspirations. This comprehensive approach provides them with a holistic understanding of our organization and helps them discover their desired career path. 💡⛵️ The trainee program has become a flagship program for attracting young talent, not only locally, but also from overseas. As June came to a close, we bid a fond farewell to Marion Böhme, who has been an integral part of #DigitalHubKL's journey as Hub Lead for the past four years. Marion's dedicated efforts have transformed #DigitalHubKL into a thriving, vibrant community, where more than 250 employees and 85 Digital Product Teams come together to create an environment of success and collaboration. Her unwavering dedication and contributions have been invaluable to our growth, and we are truly grateful for her leadership and friendship. As we continue on this incredible journey, we are excited to welcome our very own leaders, Mark Merkle and I-Leng Soh, who will be taking on the roles of Digital Hub Leads. 💫Empower Hours at Digital Hub Toronto We had an amazing AI Day 🤖 event last week where colleagues from Digital Hub Toronto gathered to learn about BASF from an operational point of view. Followed by a masterclass from our colleague Brian Chol Soo Standen who exchanged interesting insights on how to adopt an innovative mindset, drive growth, and adapt to new challenges. After lunch, our Global Digital Solutions representatives from different AI disciplines and the AI Enablement team for Agricultural Solutions presented their most impactful projects, we witnessed how they are creating value for BASF. 💯 It was a fantastic event filled with insightful discussions and networking. Last week we celebrated the 5th anniversary of our Digital Hub in Madrid! It is a hub of digital and innovative talents, with almost 600 employees from over 40 countries working in global and diverse teams. We celebrated our anniversary with some anniversary cake and Olympic-inspired games, such as mini-golf, ping pong, and table football where colleagues could win prizes. The Hub's Managing Directors share some impressions on the festivity: Dr. Suad Sejdovic, Co-Managing Director to the historic milestone: “5 years ago, we started with an idea and a small team. Today, we are a dynamic team of almost 600 colleagues, driving innovative digital solutions in BASF. Happy and proud to see that that the hub plays such a crucial role in shaping BASF’s future! Igniting the spirit of togetherness through fun games of Laser Tag! 🎉   In June, the colleagues at #DigitalHubKL eagerly came together to participate in an exciting adventure of laser tag held at Berjaya Times Square. Equipped with laser guns 🔫 and their combat skills, everyone was ready to have a great time after a productive day at work. The event provided a fantastic opportunity for colleagues to bond, exercise and enjoy themselves. As they navigated through the maze-like arena, they worked together and tried to outmaneuver their opponents.
