💡 Embracing sustainability isn't just about adapting—it's about fundamentally reshaping our approach to how business is done 💡 In partnership between the Bertelsmann Stiftung and ESCP Business School via the ESCP STAR ⭐ Center, a recent groundbreaking study came to light, delving deep into the transformative journey of 500+ German companies, reflecting the nation's economic landscape. The unveiling of the study took place during the launch event last Friday on May 3rd, 2024. The event began with the opening remarks by Birgit Riess, the Director of Sustainable Social Market Economy at the Bertelsmann Foundation, followed by a few words delivered by Prof. Dr. Frank JACOB, the Dean of ESCP Business School Berlin. Prof. Dr. Maja Göpel, the Founder of Mission Wertvoll, set the stage for the subsequent presentation of the study by the research team made of the ESCP STAR Co-Founder Prof. Dr. Florian Lüdeke-Freund and Dr. Tobias Froese, followed by practical insights shared by Gabriele Maurer, Head of Sustainability, Health, and Safety at Jungheinrich AG. The event closed off with a panel, where Prof. Dr. Maja Göpel, Prof. Dr. Florian Lüdeke-Freund and Gabriele Mauer were joined by Katarin Wagner of econsense - Forum for Sustainable Development of German Business e.V. and Bernhard Kluttig from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK).
