Afternoon Delight: ‘High Maintenance’

It’s almost the end of the week, it’s almost quittin’ time, and you need something to keep you busy at your desk while you’re pretending to work. Never fear: Decider is here to help you take it easy as your day is winding down. Enter: High Maintenance. From husband-and-wife stoners creators Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair comes the story of an unnamed pot dealer, casually referred to as “The Guy,” who bikes around the boroughs delivering weed to some very uptight New Yorkers.

Since the series premiered on Vimeo over a year ago, its following has grown faster than marijuana plants in Colorado, and Sinclair, who plays “The Guy,” has become a hero of the pot-smoking public. Unfortunately, like their subject matter, Blichfield and Sinclair can’t keep up with demand, as there hasn’t been a new episode released in about four months. Don’t worry though; there are plenty to keep you occupied at your desk. We’ll start you off with the pilot: “Stevie,” in which frantic assistant is under a ton of pressure when her Klonopin prescription runs out. She’s tempted to smoke when The Guy shows up to drop off a bag for her boss.
