Bryan Cranston Wins Again For Best Actor In A Drama Series

Brian Cranston took home the Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama this year for his performance as Walter White on Breaking Bad.

Cranston beat out Jeff Daniels of The Newsroom, Jon Hamm of Mad Men, Woody Harrelson of True Detective, Matthew McConaughey of True Detective, and Kevin Spacey of House of Cards – a tight rase between six veteran actors. Emmy voters did not determine the winner of the category based on an actor’s performance over the course of an entire season, but rather on the strength of a single episode. Cranston submitted “Ozymandias,” which you can stream on Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, and Vudu.

It’s Cranston’s fifth (and final) win for playing Walter White, successfully ending any speculation that Matthew McConaughey could set a record by winning an Oscar and an Emmy in the same year.
