As you probably already know, Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is set to host the 40th season premiere of Saturday Night Live this weekend. Will he be funny? Will he look hot? Well, based on this week’s promos, the answer to both of those questions is a resounding, “yes!”
Chris Pratt was paired with Saturday Night Live star Kate McKinnon for this week’s promos and most of them seemed to focus on the fact that the hilarious actor is now a certified Hollywood hottie. In one promo, McKinnon convinces Pratt to show her his abs and in another she utilizes his raw manpower to open pickle jars. Oh, yeah, and in another, she wraps herself around him and invites his wife, Anna Faris, to join in, saying, “human sexuality is a dazzling spectrum.”

Nasim Pedrad has left the cast to star on the new FOX show, Mulaney, and featured players John Milhiser, Mike O’Brien, Noel Wells, and Brooks Whelan all got the boot. Former staff writer Michael Che will be joining Colin Jost at the Weekend Update desk and 20-year-old stand up Pete Davidson will be joining the cast. Splitsider also reported yesterday that there have been a bunch of upheavals in the Saturday Night Live writing room, as well.
