Five Must-Watch Movies To Stream Before They Expire From Netflix December 1

In order to make room for new movies and shows each month, Netflix streaming, sadly, has to let a few go. Though they’ll disappear from the service starting midnight, December 1, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re gone forever. In fact, many of the titles that expire from Netflix eventually make their way back within a few months. But so you don’t have to wait that long to re-watch say, Batman Begins or The Omen, here’s a roundup of what you should hurry up and stream before the end of the month. We’ve curated a few must-see picks and listed out the rest so you can get to streaming, already.

All About Eve (1950)

Bette Davis is Margo Channing in this iconic showbiz flick about one aging theater actress’s journey into retirement while reluctantly taking her younger counterpart, Eve Harrington (Anne Baxter), under her wing. Batman Begins (2005)

Christopher Nolan directs this first installment of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne, a vengeful orphan determined to bring peace to the city of Gotham. His inner demons, however, are often more persistent than those in the crime-ridden streets. Also starring Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Katie Holmes, and Gary Oldman as Detective Gordon. Labyrinth (1986)

Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie star in Jim Henson’s mind-bending musical adventure that was surely intended for kids, but with time, became something to be cherished by cult fandom (and stoners). Packed with bizarre visuals and a trippy soundtrack, Labyrinth is guaranteed entertainment from start to finish.

My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997)

The Silence of the Lambs (1991)

Jonathan Demme directs this Oscar-winning horror thriller chronicling the crimes of Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), a serial killer whose past is imperative in helping solve a young FBI agent’s (Jodie Foster) case involving missing women. If you’re already over the feel-good holiday specials of the season, a creepy classic like The Silence of the Lambs might be a nice change of pace.

Other titles also expiring beginning December 1

The Omen (1976): Gregory Peck stars in this iconic horror thriller about the Damien, a devil child sent straight from the depths of hell to begin picking off his family members and their acquaintances, one by one. While the Liev Schrieber-Julia Stiles remake was certainly nothing to sneeze at, nothing beats the original.
