Actress Sarah Paulson recently expressed her desire to play the part of Donald Trump in FX’s American Horror Story. The planned seventh season of the network’s popular anthology series will focus on the most recent U.S. presidential election.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, it is not yet clear whether Trump or Hillary Clinton will definitely be characters in the forthcoming season. However, “if Donald Trump is going to be a character in it,” Paulson said, “Why not? That’s an acting challenge to be sure.” The show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, had previously stated that his new material will highlight “people who are ignored by the current administration and who are afraid and feel terrorized that their lives are going to be taken away.”
