She’s the best bad girl on TV, so of course she’s our Woman Crush Wednesday. Michelle Dockery is keeping viewers transfixed on her every move, and we love that we simply can’t stop watching her.
WHO’S THAT GAL: Michelle Dockery
WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: If you’ve seen one episode of Good Behavior, then you totally get why we’re crushing. Michelle is a complete and total FORCE on that show, tearing through wigs the way she tears through scenes, from the sexy to the dramatic to the playful. It also seems like she’s having as much fun doing it as we have watching it. As an actress of both the stage and screen, Michelle is just an incredible talent, the kind that’s able to put everything into her performances, and it sure pays off. She’s not only beautiful and graceful, but she’s also not afraid to get down and dirty when the job calls for it. Not everyone’s got that fearlessness, but we’re just glad Michelle clearly does.
WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: The actress got her start in British television shows before her first major credit in the film Hanna in 2009. From there, she went on to appear in Anna Karenina, Non-Stop, Self/less, and The Sense of an Ending. She’s even popped up in shows such as Angie Tribeca, Family Guy and American Dad! too.
But hello, of course most viewers know Michelle as Lady Mary Crawley from her six seasons on Downton Abbey. As the (mostly) prim and proper lady just trying to figure her life out while drama swirled around her, Michelle attracted viewers to the show just as her character attracted suitors.
Michelle currently stars as Letty Raines in TNT’s drama Good Behavior. As the hard-drinking, drug-addicted thief, she’s giving an incredible performance in the hour-long show. It’s not just her American accent that is perfection, she also looks damn good in any kind of disguise, and is just as powerful in her happy sarcastic moments as the ones where she’s breaking down and crying on the floor. We’re big fans of the show because it’s a perfect escape…oh, and the fact that it’s super sexy doesn’t hurt either.
WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER AGAIN: Season 2 of Good Behavior just started on TNT so hurry and get caught up before the next episode airs this Sunday night at 10pm. Next, you’ll be able to catch Michelle as Alice Fletcher in the Netflix western series Godless, set to debut in November. Basically, if she’s in it, we’re watching it.
