From acting and producing to motherhood to running a clothing line, this lovely lady has done it all. Lately we’ve noticed her name popping up more and more and we can’t help but love her for it. Let’s give it up for this week’s Woman Crush Wednesday, Reese Witherspoon!

WHO’S THAT GAL: Reese Witherspoon

WHY WE’RE CRUSHING: Most of us know Reese from her super incredible list of movie and TV credits, but in my opinion, the things she does off screen are just as admirable. In 2017, Reese launched a media company called Hello Sunshine, a brand primarily focusing on “creating and discovering content that celebrates women and puts them at the center of the story.” Reese is a huge advocate for women’s rights and equality in the film industry. On Instagram and Twitter she’s extremely vocal about her participation in the Time’s Up movement encouraging women in every industry to stand up against harassment, abuse, and marginalization.

Another super cool thing she started is her own book club. Each month she picks a book that she loves, written by and for women. Each month’s book is posted on her personal Instagram account and Hello Sunshine’s account, too. If you’re wondering (and you should be), this month’s book is Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows by Balli Kaur Jaswal. And did you know she started her own fashion line?! Draper James is Reese’s “lifestyle brand,” dedicated to her southern roots and personal style. As of March 6, the brand launched an all inclusive collection with sizes 12 to 28.

WHERE YOU’VE SEEN HER BEFORE: You might have seen her around from time to time. She starred as sorority-girl-turned-lawyer Elle Woods in a little movie called Legally Blonde, maybe you’ve heard of it? She also won an Academy Award for her performance as June Carter in Walk the Line.

But in all seriousness, Reese has been a super busy woman the past few years. Currently you can see her in theaters as Mrs. Whatsit in Disney’s  A Wrinkle in Time, alongside leading ladies Oprah Winfrey and Mindy Kaling. Also, catch her on HBO in the first season as Madeline Mackenzie in Big Little Lies. She starred in and produced Wild, the film based on Cheryl Strayed’s 2012 memoir. She even makes an appearance in the last season of The Mindy Project! And let’s not forget Reese’s best rom-com Sweet Home Alabama. If none of these are ringing a bell, you can find her in Cruel Intentions, Election, Four Christmases, and more recently Home Again.

Reese also lent her voice to Rosita, as a pig who dreams of being a singer while mothering 25 piglets, in the animated film Sing. Lemme tell you that her rendition of TSwift’s “Shake It Off” is pretty tight.

WHERE YOU’LL SEE HER AGAIN: If my dreams are coming true, it looks like we’re entering a Witherspoon Golden Era. You can catch her reprising her role as the always graceful Madeline Mackenzie in the second season of Big Little Lies, set to air in 2019. Reese also recently announced a new collab with Kerry Washington: A TV series inspired by Celeste Ng’s Little Fires Everywhere. If it’s anything like BLL, it’s bound to be an instant success. Reese will be both starring and executive producing the limited series, though no set air date has been announced yet.

Along with Reese’s plethora of new projects is the currently untitled Aniston/Witherspoon TV project, a scripted Apple series that revolves around what goes on behind the scenes in a morning news show. Again, our queen Reese is starring and executive producing.
