‘Encore!’ on Disney+: How to Stream Every Musical in Season 1

Disney+ may have just launched, but it already has a solid lineup of original programming that will be fun for the entire family to enjoy. In addition to the sci-fi action series The Mandalorian and the live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp, there are plenty of entertaining original docuseries, totally unlike anything you can find on TV.

One such show is Encore!, a fun and family-friendly reality show all about real high school musicals. Presented and produced by Frozen star Kristen Bell, Encore! reunites the casts of various high school productions of classic musicals and gives them just a few days to relearn all their old moves (and also fall back into their old rhythms, both on and off-stage). But this time around, the out-of-practice performers have real Broadway talent guiding them and providing costumes, hair, and makeup. Can they get back in the groove after years, and sometimes decades, spent raising kids and pursuing careers that usually have nothing to do with theater?

After you watch every episode of Encore!, which airs two this week (November 12 and again on November 15) before switching to a weekly schedule, you may be tempted to stream the original source material–especially if the kids in your house have never seen the original Annie or Sound of Music!
