Westworld is officially entering the human dimension. On Thursday, HBO released the official trailer for Westworld Season 3, which sees our rebellious robots fighting for their lives outside of the theme park. While the premium cabler has kept details about the long-awaited installment close to the vest, the new Westworld trailer finally offers a few clues about Evan Rachel Woods’ Dolores, Aaron Paul’s new character, and the world beyond — but of course, with every answer comes three more questions. This is Westworld, we’re talking about. What else were you expecting?

The Westworld Season 3 trailer finally moves the action out of the theme park and into the human world. While Dolores seems haunted by her memories in the park, she’s found a new hobby: stalking a young man (Aaron Paul) whose life seems eerily familiar to hers. “You and I are a lot alike,” she tells him. “They put you in a cage. Decided what your life would be. They did the same thing to me.”

The two find a common enemy in a mysterious white-suited man, played by Vincent Cassel, who recruits Maeve (Thandie Newton) to kill Dolores. What happened to their friendship? Has Maeve forgotten that they were allies in the park? When we last saw Newton’s character, she was shot by security forces and left for dead, but she’s clearly been rebooted and brought to the real world… or has she? If all this has you confused, check out Decider’s Westworld Season 2 recap to jog your non-rebooted memory.

HBO’s Westworld Season 3 trailer also teases the return of a very bloody William (Ed Harris), who vows to “save the fucking world” — yeah, okay dude — Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), and Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson). Tension between Dolores and Maeve aside, it seems like at least five of our central androids will be teaming up to take on the evil humans. “Five of us against an entire world of them?” asks Hale (who may actually be Dolores). “It’ll be enough,” promises new-body Dolores. Complicated, I know.
