The world is stressful right now, and you need something to soothe your frazzled nerves. Weirdly enough, it’s Iceland that has your back this time. Before you jump into a new episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians tonight, check out its adorable Icelandic sister, Keeping Up with the Kattarshians. Whether you watch for one minute or six hours, it’s worth your time.
If you think that Keeping Up with the Kattarshians sounds like a Kardashian knockoff but with cats, you’re exactly right. Launched in 2017, the webseries follows four cute kittens as they flop and claw their way around a miniature house. There’s no drama, no heartfelt confessionals, no fabulous clothes. There are just a bunch of kittens being cute.
Broadcast from Reykjavík, Iceland, the live stream followed a revolving cast of kittens all in one playpen. Once a kitten was adopted, they were removed from the “house” and replaced by another kitty in need of a forever home.

Currently Keeping Up with the Kattarshians is no longer live streaming. The project ended around 2018. As sad as it is to know that you can no longer watch kittens scamper in real time, that’s secretly great news since most of the kittens featured in the project were adopted. But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy their meowing antics from the comfort of your own home.
Keeping Up with the Kattarshians‘ YouTube Page currently features six videos of the scamps. One of those videos is a six-hour stream of the cats. There’s even an Instagram page in case you want to see more pictures of your favorites.
A show as rich in drama, fame, and intensity as Keeping Up with the Kardashians deserves a light-hearted appetizer. Before tuning into E! this Thursday, March 26 at 8/7c treat yourself to some cats. We promise it’s the puuurfect call.
