For the second day in a row, The Crew has cracked Netflix’s Top Ten list. Premiering on February 15, the Kevin James NASCAR comedy has been met with mixed reviews, but if you enjoyed The Ranch, this multi-cam sitcom might just be for you.
The series is filled with a number of standout actors — most notably Jillian Mueller and Sarah Stiles — but one of the best performances comes from guest star Lesli Margherita. Appearing in the second half of the season (Episodes 6 and 7, “We’re Gonna Be Okay. We’re Gonna Be Okay” and “Ooof, Someone Throw a Robe on Grandma”), the Broadway veteran portrays Morgan Conrad, the owner of Fake Steak who invests in Bobby Spencer Racing. Much to the chagrin of Catherine (Mueller), Kevin and Morgan hit it off and begin dating.

WHERE HAVE I SEEN LESLI MARGHERITA BEFORE?
Lesli is perhaps best known for playing Sharon Aldright on Homeland, Liz Clark in Fame L.A., and Crystal Diangelo on Netflix’s Seven Seconds. The actor has also appeared on NYPD Blue, Charmed, The Suite Life on Deck, Instinct, Chicago Hope, and Amazon’s Transparent.
Much like her Crew costars Jillian Mueller and Sarah Stiles, Margherita is also an accomplished Broadway star, portraying Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda The Musical and Mona Kent in Dames at Sea. The actor also won the 2009 Olivier Award for her West End debut as Inez in Helen Edmundson’s musical Zorro.
