Not all girl bosses use their power for good. Take Rosamund Pike in I Care A Lot, a new darkly comedic thriller about an ambitious businesswoman who makes her money by stealing from old people. Who would do such a thing? Well, certainly not the Russian mafia. Unfortunately for Rosamund Pike, the mafia head boss (Peter Dinklage) just so happens to be the son of Pike’s latest old lady victim (Dianne Wiest). And mafia isn’t exactly known for abandoning their moms and/or paying up quietly.

Now does that just sound like a movie you’d love to watch? It should, because I Care A Lot—written and directed J Blakeson, whose last film was The 5th Wave—is a blast from start to finish. It’s stylish, absurd, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Critics who caught the film when it premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in September gave it positive reviews, and currently, it has over 90 percent on the review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes. Also, this movie features Rosamund Pike and Eiza González as evil girlfriends; and features Chris Messina in a lot of pinstripe suits. Tell me you don’t want to see that. Here’s what to know about the I Care A Lot release date and release time.
