Darius Marder’s sensational drama Sound of Metal didn’t win Best Picture (Nomadland) at the 2021 Academy Awards, but the critically-acclaimed film did capture Oscar gold, earning the Best Film Editing and Best Sound awards at last night’s show. If you’re looking to start your week off by streaming an Oscar winner, Sound of Metal should be at the top of your list.

Starring Best Actor nominee Riz Ahmed, the emotionally resplendent film follows Ruben Stone (Ahmed), a heavy metal drummer who begins to lose his hearing.
