Are you ready to enter the Creel House? Well, get ready, because Stranger Things Season 4 is welcoming you inside one of the series new, terrifying locations courtesy a teaser that just rolled out as part of Netflix’s TUDUM event.

In the clip, we see a family in a creepy house, strange lights, the family seemingly dead, and then the Stranger Things kid breaking in to the creepy mansion. And last but not least… A horrifying clock seemingly in the Upside Down.

Who is Creel, and why should you be scared? Well, Victor Creel is played by none other than living horror legend Robert Englund. In case his name isn’t familiar, you might know him better for the role he played in a multitude of classics: Freddy Krueger. The clawed, nightmare invading murderer is coming to Stranger Things in Season 4, and we can only imagine how his terrifying house of horrors plays into whatever awaits the residents of Hawkins.

We do know a few details about Creel, at least, if not his home. According to Netflix’s twitter, Victor Creel is, “a disturbed and intimidating man who is imprisoned in a psychiatric hospital for a gruesome murder in the 1950s.” Sounds like exactly the sort of guy a bunch of kids would dare each other to enter the house of, huh?

There is one other new character who ties into Creel (probably), and that’s Jamie Campbell Bower’s Peter Ballard, who is described as, “a caring man who works as an orderly at a psychiatric hospital. Tired of the brutality he witnesses day after day, will Peter finally take a stand?”

We’ll definitely find out more about both characters when Stranger Things Season 4 premieres; though the exact date of that is still a question mark. It was announced earlier this year that the highly anticipated return would be in 2022. But so far all we’ve seen of the season are mysterious teasers like the above, or hints that characters like Jim Hopper (David Harbour) and Brenner (Matthew Modine) will be back. As for how it all ties together? Hopefully, we won’t have to wait for next year’s TUDUM to find out.
