On today’s episode of The View, the ABC talk show’s hosts sounded off on one of the most persistent issues ravaging America: Kardashian family drama. More specifically, they ripped MBA star Tristan Thompson and the Kardashian family as a whole in light of the recent revelation that he secretly fathered a third child with another woman while dating Khloé Kardashian.
“I think the common denominator in all of these situations is Tristan,” said guest host Yvette Nicole Brown. “And I feel like we gotta throw a little shade at the people sleeping with the men that are in relationships. If you wanna have love in your life, you shouldn’t step into anyone else’s love situation.”
Sunny Hostin laughed and said no when Joy Behar asked if she thought Kardashian should sue Thompson, before expanding on Brown’s point about sleeping with men in relationships. “Let’s remember that when Khloé first got entangled with Tristan, he was with someone,” she said. “Her name was Jordan Craig, and she was pregnant.”
“I tend to think of what my grandmother always taught me, which is that you lose ’em how you caught ’em,” Hostin continued. “He was in another relationship, and he messed around with Khloé. Khloé was in a relationship with him, and he messed around with other women. And it’s gonna go on and on and on.”
Guest host Ana Navarro compared the whole situation to a telenovela playing out in US tabloids and media. “I look at the Kardashians, and there seems to be this pattern of behavior,” she said. “They are so smart about their brand. These women have turned asses into assets! They’re beautiful, they’re rich, they’re famous. Why do they keep going with these losers who are cheating on them all the time?”
She continued: “And to this Tristan guy, I just have one word to say: Condom! I mean, for the love of God, dude! How many times is this gonna happen to you?”
“These are psychological issues,” Behar concluded. “I don’t think the Kardashians are keeping up with the therapy. That’s the problem.”
