I guess it’s true what they say: once a Nick girl, always a Nick girl. During Wednesday night’s (Dec. 14) episode of The Late Late Show, Haley Lu Richardson was granted the ultimate wish of any Jonas Brothers fan when host James Corden surprised her with a FaceTime call from Nick Jonas himself.

Speaking of her younger self in an old photo taken alongside the three brothers, the White Lotus star said, “She was in love with the Jonas Brothers. She waited for probably three to four hours in line in a meet and greet with her mother to meet Nick and Joe and Kevin.”

Richardson went on to admit that her AOL name was Haley Jonas and that she had written Nick’s name on all of her Converse. She even made herslef two ties because the singer was “going through a tie phase at the time,” explaining that she wore one in the photo with the brothers, while the other — which she had made for Nick —was taken by security before she got to meet him.

When Corden jokingly said he “got in touch with Nick,” the actress replied, “My heart just dropped.” However, when they came back from the commercial break, it turned out to not be a prank after all as Corden accepted a FaceTime call from Nick, leaving a shocked Richardson adorably hyperventilating. And can we blame her?

“I just wanted to tell you that you’re a huge part of my childhood and therefore life forever,” she told the musician, who said he had just finished watching The White Lotus. “All of my Converse, as I said earlier, in grade school and middle school, have your name on them.”

She continued, “I’m so proud of you and going to your guys’ concerts now recently as adults, I feel so proud of the three of you and I’m so happy for your lives and your creative endeavors and your families. And I love you.”

Meanwhile, Nick responded by telling her to “bring another tie” to the next concert she attends and he’ll “make sure” it gets to him.
