Based on the Mickey Bolitar books, Harlan Coben’s Shelter is a brand new mystery series on Prime Video that features a teen searching for clues in the disappearance of his classmate. On Netflix, you can tune in to the latest antics of Indiana’s funniest family, The Upshaws, and on Disney+, you can check out all ten episodes of The Wonder Years, which originally aired on ABC this spring and are now available to stream.

New on Prime Video August 18: Harlan Coben’s Shelter

Harlan Coben’s Shelter is the first series from the mystery writer to debut on Prime Video after a lengthy and lucrative relationship with Netflix. In the new series, a teenager named Mickey Bolitar (Jaden Michael) investigates several mysterious disappearances – including his own father’s – in his town, with the help of his two best friends. The first three episodes of Shelter are out today, Friday, August 18, with new episodes being released each Friday until September 22.

New on Netflix August 17: The Upshaws (Season 4)

Created by Regina Y. Hicks and Wanda Sykes, Netflix sitcom The Upshaws is back for a fourth season this week. The series stars Kim Fields and Mike Epps as Regina and Bennie Upshaw, as well as Sykes who plays Lucretia, Regina’s sister who doesn’t always get along with Bennie. (Wanda, we’ve been missing you ever since The Other Two wrapped up!)

New on Disney+ August 17: The Wonder Years (Season 2)

The second season of The Wonder Years, the reboot of the 1980s series of the same name, aired on ABC back in June, and now the full, 10-episode season is dropping on Disney+ this week. The new season, which co-stars EJ Williams, Dulé Hill, and Saycon Sengbloh (with narration from Don Cheadle), is chock-full of guest stars ranging from Titus Burgess to Patti LaBelle to Donald Faison, so if you need a weekend binge, this is it.
