Tom Sandoval is once again fueling the fire of Scandoval.

Speaking about his former forbidden flame and Vanderpump Rules co-star Rachel (Raquel) Leviss, Sandoval shared his reaction to her publicly blocking him on Instagram after he wished her a happy birthday.

“Obviously, I think it’s a little immature and petty,” he told People, noting that “to post that you’re blocking [someone] seems a bit thirsty.”

“Happy Birthday, Rachel,” he wrote to Leviss, who turned 29 on Monday (Sept. 12). “I really hope ur finding peace and happiness. Miss u friend.”

Leviss responded by posting a screenshot of her blocking Sandoval’s profile to her story, adorned with a pink and white sticker that read, “OK bye!”

Sandoval said that he “wanted to just send her some love [and] let her know that, happy birthday, whatever.”

“I just kind of feel bad for her, in a way,” he continued. “I don’t understand. I think she’s really struggling with taking accountability for her actions and just wants to point fingers and be mad at everybody else. There were two of us in this situation. We both screwed up.”

While the reality star claimed he “just wanted to be nice,” he noted that he has rarely had any contact with Leviss these days, despite trying to contact her publicist “multiple times.”

“[I did] fill her in with what was happening and what was being said and really kind of kept them in the loop,” he told the outlet. “Even though I wasn’t speaking to Raquel or Rachel, I felt it would help her, whether she was coming back or not, but I don’t know.”

He even went so far as to say it “sucks” that he and Leviss “never had any closure” following the massive fallout caused by their affair — including the end of his nine-year-long relationship with fellow VPR star Ariana Madix.

“I had a conversation with her that ended very much in a way of, ‘All right, well, I’ll talk to you in the next few days,’ and that was it,” he shared.

Leviss, who is not returning for VPR‘s upcoming Season 11, broke her silence on former Real Housewives Of New York City star Bethenny Frankel‘s iHeartPodcast Rewives. Leviss said on the podcast that she feels like she has been “portrayed as the ultimate villain.”

“My mistakes that I’ve made on camera live on forever,” she told Frankel.
