Mama Kelce continues to be grilled for more intel on her son Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s “budding romance,” but she just won’t budge.

Donna, the mother of NFL stars and brothers Travis and Jason Kelce, sat down with co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie this morning on The Today Show, with both women dying to know more about Donna’s thoughts on the pop star as a romantic prospect for Jason.

Kotb began the slew of questions by asking if the Chiefs vs. Bears game on Sept. 24 was “the first time [Donna] met Taylor.”

Donna replied, “Yeah, you know, it’s fairly new, so, I don’t like to talk about it. You know, it’s just one of those things where obviously, everybody saw me. I was in the boxes with her, and it’s just another thing that’s amped up my life.”

“What was she like?” Guthrie asked. “Did you get to know her a little bit? You got to sit with her at a couple games. How was it?”

“It was OK,” Donna responded vaguely.

Kotb chimed in saying that both she and Guthrie have met Swift before and “have sort of just always been delighted by her.”

While Donna appeared uncomfortable, the eager daytime hosts continued poking and prodding for more deets.

“Did Travis say, ‘Mom, if you get on The Today Show and start spilling the beans — did you get a little warning?” Guthrie quipped.

Donna remained composed and dished out the best motherly message: “It’s not so much a warning, as it’s his personal life, and I’ll talk about my life, and when the kids were little and I was with them, but you know, they’re men now,” she told Kotb and Guthrie. “And they’ve got their own lives, and there isn’t a man alive that’s gonna talk to their mom about their personal life. It’s just not gonna happen!”

While the conversation took a turn toward parenting, Guthrie eventually brought it back to the subject of Swift.

“You know all the Swifties will kill us if we don’t ask, but do you think it’s a budding romance?” Guthrie asked

“I honestly can’t tell you,” Donna replied. “It’s just too new!”

Guthrie and Kotb gave Donna Today Show friendship bracelets inspired by those worn by fans who attended Swift’s Eras Tour. And Donna, in classic motherly fashion, brought the hosts cookies, which Kotb ranked as “A-plus.”

The Today Show airs on weekdays at 7 a.m. ET on NBC. Watch the full interview above.
