Fox has canceled Welcome to Flatch after two seasons.

Season 2 of the mockumentary series, created by Jenny Bicks and based on the BBC series This Country, concluded in February. Paul Feig also served as executive producer.

“While audience response was not as strong as we had hoped, we were thrilled with the creativity of the enormously talented Jenny Bicks and Paul Feig, as well as the outstanding, dedicated cast and crew they assembled,” said Fox in a statement. “We look forward to collaborating with them again in the future and are thankful for all of our partners at Lionsgate, Jenny’s Perkins Street Productions, Paul’s Feigco Entertainment, BBC Studios’ Angie Stephenson, and Charlie Cooper and Daisy May Cooper.”

Welcome to Flatch centers on the quirky residents of a small Ohio town, particularly two cousins (Sam Straley and Holmes). Justin Linville, Taylor Ortega, Krystal Smith, Aya Cash, Seann William Scott and Jaime Pressly also star in the series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series was one of Fox’s least watched shows for both of its seasons. It averaged just 1.24 million viewers and a 0.28 rating among adults 18-49 after seven days of delayed viewing (not including streaming) in 2022-23.

In addition to Bicks and Feig, Stephenson as well as Charlie and Daisy May Cooper, who created This Country, serve as executive producers.

Welcome to Flatch is produced by Lionsgate Television, BBC Studios’ Los Angeles hub and Fox Entertainment.
