If there’s one thing the Housewives are known for besides petty fights and flaunting their wealth, it’s how to throw a good party — as long as there’s no cash bar. Now that spooky season is in full swing, there’s no better time than now to look back on the numerous Halloween episodes that have spanned the beloved Bravo franchise.

When you think of Halloween-themed episodes on the Real Housewives, your mind may stray to the obvious: Lisa Rinna dressing up as Erika Jayne, Teresa Giudice wearing a frilly pink cotton candy costume that no one understood, or Ramona Singer getting ripped for being self-centered at nearly every costume party. But what you may not remember is that Shannon Beador was first introduced to The Real Housewives of Orange County during a Halloween-themed dinner party, or that Melissa Gorga officially joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey in an episode taking place around the eerie holiday. So these bad boys were important!

In light of All Hallows’ Eve, grab your Skinnygirl Margarita, Vanderpump Rosé — or any other boos to help you get in the mood — and prepare yourself for all the tricks and treats these iconic women have served over the last decade-plus.

Here’s every Housewives Halloween episode — all of which can be streamed on Peacock — from oldest to newest:

  1. The Real Housewives of New York Season 2, Episode 10 “Unfashionably Late”

This iconic episode of The Real Housewives of New York City has not one, but two Halloween parties. While the most notable moment of the first is Ramona Singer taking a bite out of dog food, the drama doesn’t kick into full gear until the women attend Kelly Bensimon’s bash. As the ex-reality star hosts a party with a CASH BAR (jumpscare!) and shows up two hours late, her fed-up co-stars opt to ditch the event, which Alex McCord appropriately describes as “dark and frat party-ish.” Moreover, Bensimon’s tardiness only further escalates her drama with Bethenny Frankel, who dramatically roller-skates away into the night.

  2. The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 3, Episode 2 “Drop Dead Gorgas”

    'RHONJ'
    Photo: Bravo

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 3, Episode 2 poses the start of a story more haunting than any Stephen King novel could produce: the years-long feud between Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. With Melissa making her Bravo debut at the start of the season, the second episode picks up around Halloween, not long after the infamous brawl between Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice at the former’s christening for his son. While Teresa, Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita carve pumpkins in preparation for the spooky holiday, Melissa and Joe Gorga go out on the town dressed as Catwoman and … a Jersey Girl? I think it goes without saying that Joe Gorga dressed in an animal print bodycon dress and a long, dark wig bears a striking resemblance to his sister, even when they’re beefing.

  3. The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 9, Episode 2 “Meat and Potatoes”

    'RHOC'
    Photo: Bravo

Shannon Beador makes a memorable debut at Tamra Judge’s Halloween dinner party – complete with tarot cards and Ouija boards – back in Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Orange County. And while we don’t know what’s scarier – that Vicki Gunvalson is still with Brooks or that Beador is already spilling her woes about her doomed marriage to David to a group of new women – this episode marks the the beginning to a fun journey of “whooping it up” for the soon-to-be Tres Amigas.

  4. The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 6, Episode 4 “A Hairy Situation”

    'RHONJ'
    Photo: Bravo

Remember that time The Real Housewives of New Jersey had their own version of The Shining twins? At the early onset of Teresa and Joe Giudice’s legal troubles, Nicole Napolitano (twin No. 1) and her boyfriend throw a First Responders-themed costume party, where all hell breaks loose when Amber Marchese’s husband Jim comes after the Giudices over their indictments. In one of the few eras in which the Giudices and the Gorgas are actually getting along, Joe Gorga fiercely retaliates against Jim – and, more surprisingly, professes his “love” for Joe Giudice.

  5. The Real Housewives of Dallas Season 2, Episode 3 “Face to Two Face”

    'RHOD'
    Photo: Bravo

The Real Housewives of Dallas only ran for five season from 2016 to 2021, but Bravo still managed to squeeze out a Halloween episode. In this one, Stephanie Hollman plots her revenge against her husband, who recently spent millions of dollars on a house without consulting her, by shoveling out thousands of dollars on Halloween party without his input. Aside from that, she also sits down to work things out with estranged BFF Brandi Redmond, before needing to face the Queen of Shade a.k.a LeeAnne Locken, who shows up to the costume party as a two-faced version of Stephanie.

  6. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10, Episode 18
    “Nightmare on Peachtree Street”

    'RHOA'
    Photo: Bravo

Not even a church is safe from evil attitudes! On this Halloween episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Eva Marcille and Kandi Burruss throw a costume party in a decommissioned church. As per usual, the ladies are fighting with Porsha Williams – including Shereé Whitfield, who previously had her back. Not to mention, Kim Zolciak — who somehow manages to avoid a confrontation with Nene Leakes — shows up to the party as a Playboy Bunny with now-estranged husband Kroy Biermann on her arm as Hugh Hefner. It’s a good thing the party was in a church, because these women need some prayers.

  7. The Real Housewives of New York Season 10, Episode 1 “Ghouls Just Want to Have Fun”

    'RHONY'
    Photo: Bravo

Dorinda Medley is gearing up to prove she’s an “equal holiday opportunist” in this fun Halloween episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. With the exception of Luann de Lesseps’ “disrespectful and tone deaf” Diana Ross costume, the women nailed the “Famous People Dead or Alive” theme. Naturally, things take a dramatic turn as an inebriated Dorinda calls Sonja Morgan out for not saying hello to her at her party, while Luann is pissed that Carole Radziwill didn’t offer support following her messy divorce. After Dorinda – who had one too many “orange bubbly drinks” – gets escorted out, the screaming match between Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel becomes the fight of the night.

  8. The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 4, Episode 2 “Good Will Haunting”

    'RHOP'
    Photo: Bravo

This episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac was a tad more awkward than it was scary. After Michael Darby’s assault and sexual misconduct charges get dropped, Ashley Darby must face her co-stars and their incessant questioning. And what better place to do it than a haunted house Robyn Dixon planned for her husband Juan Dixon’s birthday?

  9. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 9, Episode 16 “Meet Rinna Jayne”

    'RHOBH'
    Photo: Bravo

The only thing scarier than an angry Erika Jayne is an angry Lisa Rinna dressed as Erika Jayne. At Kyle Richards’ Halloween party/30th birthday party for her oldest daughter – that, may we point out, cost her five Birkin bags – Rinna stuns the women by dressing up as none other than Jayne. While the ex-Housewife has Jayne’s shameless personality down to a T, she goes a tad overboard with the bitchiness when confronting frenemy Kim Richards. Plus, Denise Richards defends Rinna, whom she calls one of her “best friends,” in what some may call her famous last words. If you know, you know.

  10. The Real Housewives of New York Season 11, Episode 10 “Shalloween”

    'RHONY'
    Photo: Bravo

Not even the Countess’ Halloween performance could keep Bethenny Frankel from her mom duties. On this episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, the women head out to watch Luann de Lesseps take over the stage on Halloween night. However, when she doesn’t go on until after 11 p.m., Frankel — who, at least, didn’t let a good Victoria’s Secret angel costume go to waste — makes a quick exit to let her babysitter off the hook.

For more Halloween-themed episodes from this season, check out Season 11, Episode 6, titled “Sleeping With the Fishes.” While the scariest scenes you’ll find have Luann complaining about the fish room at Bluestone Manor and Sonja Morgan sobbing over the Morgan letters, Dorinda Medley has her Berkshires house perfectly decorated for the spooky season.

  11. The Real Housewives of New York Season 12, Episode 12 “Eat, Drink and Be Scary”

    'RHONY'
    Photo: Bravo

You know it’s going to be a good one when Sonja Morgan is soaking up all the boos before the party even starts. At Luann de Lesseps’ voodoo-themed Halloween party, Ramona Singer becomes the punching bag of her co-stars, who are fed up with her self-centered attitude. As Dorinda Medley calls out Ramona via toast, Sonja has a heart-to-heart with Leah McSweeney, whom she calls a “fucking weirdo” only moments before.

  12. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 13, Episode 14 “If You’ve Got It, Haunt It”

    'RHOA'
    Photo: Bravo

All roads lead back to LaToya Forever in this episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. At Fallyn Pina’s elaborate Halloween party, which took three days to set up, tensions boil over between the host and Latoya, who, for some reason, can’t seem to stop commenting on her marriage to an older man. As LaToya continues to antagonize Fallyn on her way out from the party, the latter needs to be physically restrained by RHOA producers from going after her co-star. At one point, the reality personality even loses some of the snakes from her Medusa wig while trying to evade security and get to LaToya, causing one of the most chaotic Halloween episodes in Housewives history.

  13. The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 11, Episode 13 “House of Horrors”

    'RHONJ'
    Photo: Bravo

Set in the scary times of COVID, Margaret Josephs decides to throw a Halloween party in honor of Joe Benigno’s birthday, where Melissa and Joe Gorga are confronted about their relationship. You see, Melissa’s been begging for independence, while Joe — who upset Dolores Catania by calling her “broken” — feels as though he’s getting left in the dust. While the women come after the Gorgas, Teresa Giudice unsurprisingly sits silent. Perhaps she’s daydreaming about Luis Ruelas, who gets introduced at the start of the episode. But hey! Frank Catania as Tiger King’s Joe Exotic is truly a sight to behold.

  14. The Real Housewives of New York Season 13, Episode 6 “Stop and Throw the Roses”

    'RHONY'
    Photo: Bravo

In the last Halloween episode featuring the original RHONY cast, Luann de Lesseps throws a 1970s beauty pageant party. But before they can even get to the event, Leah McSweeney (fake slit throat and all) has a blowout argument with Heather Thomson over her decision to sit the 2020 election out.

For more witchy happenings from this season of RHONY, check out the ladies’ trip to Salem, Massachusetts in Episode  9 “The Salem B… Trials,” Episode 10 “Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Bored,” and Episode 11 “The Witching Hour.”

  15. The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17, Episode 16 “Welcome to the Freak Show”

    'RHOC'
    Photo: Bravo

Don’t put away your popcorn and candy just yet! Last month, Bravo graced us with a brand new Halloween episode just in time for this year’s spooky season. In the RHOC Season 17 finale, Gina Kirschenheiter throws a “Freak Show” costume party chock-full of unicycling, clown makeup and a wasted Taylor Armstrong. While the party is creative and the costumes are superb, Heather Dubrow gets more tricks than treats as Tamra Judge spearheads the anti-Fancy Pants battalion. And like Michael Myers — who took more than 10 films to get rid of once and for all — Heather will not be taken down easily.
