Bradley Cooper says he’s totally down to do another Hangover movie should the opportunity arise.

Although the Maestro star has taken on more serious roles as of late, he’s open to reviving his character Phil in the popular comedy franchise.

During a recent appearance on The New Yorker Radio Hour, Cooper shared his feelings about a fourth installment of the Todd Phillips comedy that he has starred in alongside Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong and Jeffrey Tambor.

“I would probably do Hangover 4 in an instant,” said Cooper. “Just because I love Todd, I love Zach, I love Ed so much, I probably would.”

Although he’d be an easy sell for The Hangover Part IV, he doesn’t think the director is interested in making another sequel.

“I don’t think Todd is ever going to do that,” Cooper added.

The Hangover, which earned $469M at the worldwide box office, tells the story of a bachelor party gone wrong, involving Phil (Cooper), Stu Price (Helms), Alan Garner (Galifianakis) and Doug Billings (Bartha). After a crazy night in Las Vegas, Doug is missing and everyone else painfully attempts to piece together the night before.

A sequel titled The Hangover Part II was released in 2011 and another sequel titled The Hangover Part III was released in 2013.

Galifianakis jokingly shared an idea for The Hangover 4 with Extra in 2021.

“Maybe if they made it a Pixar version… a family-friendly version,” he said. “I don’t think anybody has been thinking about that.”
