With less than a month until the Major League Soccer (MLS) season kicks off, MLS Season Pass on Apple TV is back.

The service is relaunching today, January 29, ahead of Inter Miami FC’s preseason and star Lionel Messi’s first full season in MLS featuring games against Al-Hilal SFC, Hong Kong Team, Vissel Kobe, Newell’s Old Boys (Messi’s childhood team), and Al-Nassr — the current team of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.

The only place to watch these preseason games is with a subscription to MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

The 2024 Season Pass will give subscribers access to every MLS match of the year, including preseason and playoffs, with no local blackouts. This means that no matter where you live, you’ll be able to watch your local team’s matches in addition to the rest of the league.

With the 2024 launch, Season Pass is also introducing a Spanish version of MLS 360, the whip-around show live on match days (similar to NFL Red Zone). Tony Cherchi will host the new show, which features analysis and live look-ins at goals, big saves, and penalty kicks.

MLS Season Pass is a service inside the Apple TV app, but you don’t have to be an Apple TV+ subscriber or Apple device user to subscribe to Season Pass. However, Apple TV+ subscribers get a discount on the monthly and season-long subscription prices.

Season Pass costs $14.99/month, but if you want to prepay for the season at the time of sign-up, you’ll get a slight discount — the annual price is $99.

Apple TV+ subscribers also get a discount, so the monthly price goes down $2/month to $12.99 and the annual price is $20 cheaper, down to $79.
