Good news, Call the Midwife hive: New episodes are premiering this month on PBS!

Per PBS, Nonnatus House kicks off a new pupil midwife training in the first episode of Season 13. But wait… there’s more! “Dr. Turner supervises the delivery of a baby whose mother has cerebral palsy, and the ‘Raise the Roof Campaign’ for better pay and conditions creates a divide of opinion among the nurses.”

If you’re looking to stream the season premiere early, PBS Passport members can watch Season 13 episodes thirty days before their scheduled broadcast date. And if you’re looking to binge previous episodes, Netflix currently offers the first twelve seasons.

No official release date has been announced, but based on the show’s streaming history we have a pretty good idea of when new episodes might drop on Netflix.

  • Call the Midwife Season 10: Premiered in April of 2021 on PBS and March of 2022 on Netflix
  • Call the Midwife Season 11: Premiered in January of 2022 on PBS and September of 2022 on Netflix
  • Call the Midwife Season 12: Premiered in January of 2023 on PBS and September of 2023 on Netflix

Based on the previous release dates, we expect Call the Midwife Season 13 to debut on Netflix near the end of the year, with our best guess being November 2024.
