Peter Krause Shares His Dream ‘9-1-1’ Crossover — And No, It’s Not ‘The Bachelor’

9-1-1 Season 7 just premiered on March 14, but fans of the Fox-turned-ABC procedural are already clamoring for a crossover episode.

The show’s Season 4 crossover with 9-1-1: Lone Star (still airing on Fox) was a soaring success, and this season, actor Oliver Stark told People that a “crossover of sorts” with another ABC show is coming in Episode 5. When asked if the 118 is headed to the Bachelor mansion to save Jesse Palmer or tend to a rose-related emergency, 9-1-1‘s Peter Krause told Decider, “Emergencies can happen anywhere! There might be something along those lines in your future as a viewer.”

Following that interview, People shared an exclusive photo of the 118’s firetruck outside the Bachelor mansion, so it looks like we were correct. Let the record show, however, that The Bachelor isn’t Krause’s dream 9-1-1 crossover.

Decider also asked the actor which show he’d love to merge worlds with, and his answer is sure to surprise you — largely because it’s not on TV anymore!

“I was going to say Lost but that’s now off the air,” Krause said with a chuckle. “We’ll go on another vacation and slip into another dimension into that world.”

Krause and fans of Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams, and Damon Lindelof’s sci-fi drama — which ran for six season on ABC and ended in 2010 — will be pleased to know that Lost is a fan of 9-1-1, too.

Ahead of the Season 7 premiere, which tees up disaster for Bobby (Krause) and Athena’s (Angela Bassett) cruise ship, the official Lost Facebook page shared a photo of Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) with “NOT PENNY’S BOAT” written on his hand — a shot from the critically acclaimed Season 3 finale, “Through the Looking Glass.”

The post is captioned, “Hoping Bobby and Athena don’t face the same fate as Charlie…Watch a new, action-packed season of 9-1-1 on ABC tonight at 8/7c on ABC and stream on Hulu.”

While the 9-1-1 love was clearly a marketing tactic from one ABC show to another, given Krause’s recently revealed dream crossover with the off-air TV series, we have no choice but to ponder the words of Matthew Fox’s Jack Shephard.

Now more than ever before, “WE HAVE TO GO BACK!”
