Premiere date? Yes, chef! Jeremy Allen White, along with FX and the rest of his award-winning co-stars, have finally announced the long-awaited premiere date for The Bear Season 3 — and we won’t be waiting much longer.

The third season of The Bear will officially begin streaming on Hulu on Thursday, June 27. Like previous seasons, all 10 episodes will be released on the same day as opposed to on a week-to-week basis.

In a brief teaser announcing the premiere date, Carmy (White) stands alone in the kitchen of his newly reopened restaurant in the middle of the night, proving he does eventually get out of the freezer he got trapped inside at the end of Season 2. He then ominously looks up at the camera, which zooms out to show off the Chicago skyline.

The Bear Season 3 will follow the beloved crew “as they do what it takes to elevate The Bear, their beef stand turned fine dining establishment, to the highest level, all while doing their best just to stay in business,” according to a press release provided to DECIDER. With the staff growing in size and Carmy pushing himself harder than ever, the third season will present new challenges and opportunities that help prove who has “what it takes to make it to tomorrow.”

The hit FX series premiered on Hulu in June 2022. The first season swept at this year’s Emmys, which were delayed due to the dual Hollywood strikes. The show took home six awards including Best Comedy Series, Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (White) and Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Ayo Edebiri).

The Bear also won three awards at the 2024 Golden Globes — Best Television Comedy, Best Male Actor in a Comedy (White) and Best Actress in a Comedy ( Edebiri).

Earlier this year, White revealed that production for Season 3 was set to begin in February or March 2024.

“I’m going to spend a fair amount of time getting together with some chefs. There’ll be a menu set, I believe, that’s going to be for the restaurant in the third season. And I know that I’m going to start putting together that menu with different chefs,” he told Variety when asked how he was preparing for Season 3.

White continued, “We all did a lot of preparation before the first season. I went to culinary school and I spent a lot of time in restaurants. And then, for the second season, so much of it was about putting the restaurant together, so there wasn’t that much cooking. But now, in the third season, I think we’re going to go back to that functioning kitchen atmosphere that we had in the first.”

The first two seasons of The Bear are currently streaming on Hulu. You can watch Season 3 when it drops on June 27.
