Netflix Teases ‘Heartstopper’ Season 3 With Surprise Preview Of Billie Eilish’s Latest “Birds Of A Feather”

Heartstopper fans recently got a glimpse at Season 3, which featured an extra special surprise.

The new Season 3 teaser, which Netflix dropped on Monday (May 13), is set to Billie Eilish‘s “Birds of a Feather,” a song featured on her album Hit Me Hard and Soft that will be released this Friday (May 17). Fans can catch Eilish belting out the lyrics “I’ll love you till the day that I die… Till the light leaves my eyes. Forever, it’s even better,” per Billboard.

In the trailer, viewers first see Charlie (Joe Locke), facing a picture of himself and Nick (Kit Connor) hung up on his mirror, while practicing how he plans to tell him that he loves him.

“Nick, I love you. You don’t have to say it back yet,” he says. “I don’t want you to feel pressured —”

His rehearsal is quickly interrupted by the creak of his bedroom door, and in walks Charlie’s sister, Tori (Jenny Walser).

“I’m shocked you haven’t said it already,” she tells him.

Charlie explains, “I don’t want him to have to say the awkward ‘I love you too’ cause he feels obligated to.”

Tori asks, “You don’t think he feels the same?”

After Charlie lets out a frustrated groan, Tori urges her brother to “tell him today.”

Nick then picks Charlie up, and the two share a heartwarming moment in the doorway. However, Charlie can’t scrounge up the nerve to tell him how he feels prior to Nick leading him out the door.

As fans saw in the Season 3 teaser trailer, Charlie wants to tell Nick that he loves him. According to the streamer’s synopsis, “Nick also has something important to say to Charlie.”
