The View co-hosts have spent years warning the American people about what a potential second term for Donald Trump could mean for the future of our democracy. But on this morning’s episode of the hit daytime talk show, Whoopi Goldberg pointed out the possible consequences she thinks she and her fellow co-hosts could face if Trump were to be reelected as POTUS, suggesting that he would “jail” them for speaking out against him.

Goldberg’s comment came during a conversation with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, who offered her opinion on the “violent rhetoric” and “imagery” coming out of pro-Palestine protests on college campuses.

“I think that people do have the right to protest. I mean, that’s why we have a democracy,” she said. “Thank God we live in a democracy.”

Biden continued, “But I think that the protests have to be peaceful. Peaceful. Why would we be violent? What is the point of the violence? I mean, aren’t they really protesting violence with violence? That doesn’t make sense.”

The First Lady concluded that she “agrees with the students who are protesting” but urged them to do so “peacefully.”

Before they could move on from the topic, Joy Behar made sure to mention how Trump allegedly plans to deal with protesters if he wins the presidency in November.

“I believe Trump said that he would jail protesters if he won,” Behar said, before Goldberg chimed in, “Including us.”

Biden agreed that Trump jailing his opposition would “probably be where he’d start” as president, while Behar added, “That’s another right that’s being taken away if he’s there.”

Trump recently spoke out against the campus protests at a rally in Wildwood, NJ, where he promised that he would “not allow colleges to be taken over by violent radicals” if he were to be elected president.

“If you come here from another country and try to bring jihadism or anti-Americanism or antisemitism to our campuses, we will immediately deport you, you’ll be out of that school,” he told his followers.
