‘Outlander’ Season 7 Part 2 Release Date Revealed in Dramatic New Teaser Trailer: “Would You Not Sacrifice Everything For Love?”

We finally have an Outlander Season 7 Part 2 release date!!! In honor of World Outlander Day, aka June 1, Starz has not only unveiled the first teaser trailer for the long-anticipated second half of Outlander Season 7, but confirmed that it will premiere on November 22, 2024!!! Not only that, but Starz also shared some interesting new casting tidbits for Outlander Season 8, the show’s final season…

When we last left Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe), they had just arrived off the coast of Scotland with nephew Young Ian (John Bell). While it seemed that a family reunion at Lallybroch was nigh, the new teaser trailer suggests that their time in Bonny Scotland might be short. Claire explains that she no longer feels like the future is hers and that she and her beloved husband want to participate in the founding of the United States of America.

Meanwhile, we get glimpses of Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger (Richard Rankin) struggling in their disparate timelines to find their kidnapped son and teases that Jamie and Claire will be enjoying each other’s company (if you catch my drift). At one point, Claire poignantly asks someone, “Would you not sacrifice everything for love?” The teaser ends with Jamie and Claire whispering each other’s names and the reveal that Outlander Season 7 Part 2 premieres on November 22.

Starz also revealed that three new actors have joined the cast of Outlander Season 8, which is currently in production. According to the official press release, Kieran Bew will be playing Captain Charles Cunningham, “a retired British soldier,” Frances Tomelty “will be playing his mother, Elspeth Cunningham, and Carla Woodcock “joins in the role of Amaranthus Grey, a new member of the Grey family. Fans of Diana Gabaldon’s books might recognize Amaranthus from the eighth novel, Written in My Heart’s Own Blood, while the Cunninghams pop up in Book 9, Go Tell the Bees that I Am Gone.

Anyway, it will likely be a while until we meet these new faces in Outlander Season 8.

For now, we can just ready ourselves for Outlander Season 7 Part 2, premiering November 22 on Starz.
