Use This Hack to Try Disney+ For Free

All the products and services on this page were chosen by a Decider editor, but we may be compensated and/or receive an affiliate commission on some items if you decide to buy.

Okay, we’ll just say it: we love a free trial.

What’s better than signing onto a streaming service to check out the newest movies knowing you haven’t actually spent a dime on it yet? Free trials are also a perfect way to, well, trial a service to see if what they have is worth the monthly payments to keep the service in your roster.

Not every streaming service offers one, but sometimes if you get a little creative, you’ll find other ways to try out streaming services for free.

Below, check out our hack to get a Disney+ free trial.

Does Disney+ Have A Free Trial?

Unfortunately, Disney+ does not currently have a free trial.

Can I Get Disney+ For Free with Hulu + Live TV?

Yes! Though it’s only for three days, you can watch Disney+ for free as part of the Hulu + Live TV free trial.

Disney+ (with ads) is included as part of a Hulu + Live TV base plan, so signing up for the live service’s free trial will also unlock access to Disney+ for you.

Hulu + Live TV costs $76.99/month after the first three days and comes with over 95 live TV channels, Hulu’s streaming service library, ESPN+, and, of course, Disney+.

This is currently the only way to try Disney+ for free.

How Much Does Disney+ Cost?

Disney+ currently offers a number of streaming plans and bundles geared toward different needs at different price points. Lets break it down:

  • Disney+ Basic: with ads, $7.99/month
  • Disney+ Premium: ad-free, $13.99/month
  • Duo Basic: Disney+ and Hulu with ads, $9.99/month
  • Duo Premium: Disney+ and Hulu ad-free, $19.99/month
  • Trio Basic: Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ with ads, $14.99/month
  • Trio Premium: Disney+ and Hulu ad-free, ESPN+ with ads, $24.99/month
