Andy Cohen and Teresa Giudice weren’t always so buddy-buddy. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star appeared on Sunday night’s (June 9) episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she and the talk show host reminisced on the early days of their friendship.

Cohen and Giudice have been working together for 15 years, though they haven’t always been on the best terms.

“Teresa and I were just talking about all the years of the show. You and I went through it a little bit for, like, a chunk of time where you really felt like I was after you,” he said on the WWHL After Show, while Giudice agreed, noting that he was “just doing [his] job.”

Cohen continued, “Teresa and I had a serious come to Jesus before [she] went away. And I feel like that was when we kind of figured it all out. It took us a minute.”

According to Giudice, she always felt like Cohen asked her the “hardest” questions.

“I know you did. But you were always under fire!” he shot back, to which she replied, “I know. And I didn’t get it. Hello! This is my first time on TV. This was all new to me.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Cohen pulled up a clip from Giudice’s first appearance in the Bravo Clubhouse alongside the late Jackie Collins, which took place on Feb. 11, 2010. It was mere months after the reality star infamously flipped a table on her then-co-star Danielle Staub as she called her a “prostitution whore.”

“Everyone loves that. And everyone totally loves the whole table-flipping thing,” Giudice said at the time, while Cohen joked that his glass table in the Clubhouse might get flipped by the end of the night.

“Is Danielle here?” Giudice quipped.

Giudice has since been named WWHL’s most common guest,” having made a whopping 43 appearances since the late-night show premiered in 2009.

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
