Is ‘Inside Out 2’ Streaming On Netflix Or Disney+?

It’s been nine years since Inside Out first hit theaters — and this week, devoted fans will finally be able to watch the long-awaited sequel. Luckily, we have you covered on all the ways you can view this coming-of-age animated flick!

Inside Out 2 — which features voiceovers from Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke and Ayo Edebiri — will bring viewers back inside the mind of a teenage Riley, where Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust must navigate unfamiliar territory when a new emotion shows up: Anxiety.

So, where can you watch Inside Out 2? Is it on Disney+? What about Netflix?

WHERE TO WATCH INSIDE OUT 2:

As of now, the only way to watch Inside Out 2 is the head out to a movie theater when it releases on Friday, June 14. You can find a local showing on Fandango. Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait until it becomes available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Vudu, Apple, YouTube, and Amazon, or becomes available to stream on Disney+. WILL INSIDE OUT 2 BE ON DISNEY PLUS?

While a streaming release date for Inside Out 2 has not yet been announced, we can make an educated guess on when the film will come to Disney+. Though there’s no set pattern, many Disney movies stream close to 45 days after their theatrical release, usually on the Friday after. If that’s the case, Inside Out 2 could be streaming on Disney+ as early as July 26, 2024.

However, other movies like Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania were released on Disney+ about 90 days after their theatrical debut. If Inside Out 2 follows the same trajectory, it may not join the streaming platform until mid-September 2024.
