Dakota Johnson recently visited Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she and the late night host settled a neighbor dispute and discussed her new movie until a major wardrobe malfunction threatened to end their interview early.

After sharing a clip from her new film Daddio, Jimmy Kimmel announced, “Dakota, your dress just came unhooked! Are you all right? Should I get some scotch tape?”

Johnson appeared to be holding her dress up as she replied, “My dress just fell off.”

“It seems to be hanging in alright,” Kimmel replied as Johnson settled for holding it up for the duration of the interview. “You just hold it, it wont be very long. By the way, you guys did a great job in this movie.”

He attempted to steer the interview back to the movie while Johnson visibly struggled to focus as she held her dress up. He then jokingly told her to “just hold the important part,” prompting her to hold the dress up to her chest.

“The movie is really good,” she said with her hands on her chest.

The conversation then took another NSFW turn when Kimmel pointed to a particular moment in the movie that showed an explicit photo of a penis.

“So there is this sort of ominous third character in the movie, you never see him, you never really meet him, and my character is texting with him the whole time, and he sends this dick pic,” Johnson explained. “And you know when we were casting the dick pic, casting the dick – there’s not a back stock of penis pics that are usable in movies…”

Kimmel then attempted to crack a joke as he said, “I know where you can find a very big back stock of them,” to which Johnson replied, “In your phone?”

She later explained that a crew member “had a group of her male friends just anonymously send in photos to her,” which Johnson and her team closely deliberated over before choosing the one.

Kimmel questioned whether the anonymous man behind the photo will be listed in the Daddio credits, which Johnson appeared unsure about.

“I think he got paid,” she said. “I should be a better producer in this department.”

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs weeknights at 11:35 ET/PT.
