‘Interview With the Vampire’ Exclusive Clip: Watch Louis Realize in Horror Lestat is Coming to the Trial

Interview With the Vampire Season 2 Episode 7 “I Could Not Prevent It” promises to be a brutal entry in the AMC show. After all, Louis (Jacob Anderson), Claudia (Delainey Hayles), and Madeleine (Roxane Duran) have been captured by the Paris coven and put on show trial during a rare matinee performance of the Théâtre des Vampires. Fans of the show who have not read Anne Rice‘s Vampire Chronicles will finally learn what happened to Claudia in Interview With the Vampire. Perhaps more importantly, however, we’ll finally get to see Louis reunite with the vampire Lestat (Sam Reid).

And we’ve got an exclusive clip showing us the moment that Louis recalls to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) the stomach-churning moment in which he realized that Lestat would be present at his own murder trial. The nearly ninety second clip sees Louis explaining how the Paris Coven managed to weaken powerful vamps like Louis, Claudia, and Madeleine. More importantly…it ends with Lestat’s grand entrance.

Interview With the Vampire Season 2 has been following Louis and Claudia to post-WWII Europe. The two American vampires finally discover others of their kind in Paris, but in doing so learn that Lestat never filled them in on the nitty gritty of being a bloodsucker. Turns out their are laws and together the duo have broken several of them. The worst of which? “Murdering” Lestat.

Even though Lestat survived, the Parisian coven, disgusted by child vampire Claudia and jealous of Louis’s sway over their former leader, Armand (Assad Zaman), uses him in their maniacal ploy to beat the Yankee vamps. This trial is the culmination of that plan.
