The sun is setting on Danielle Olivera‘s Summer House tenure.

Per Deadline, the reality TV star revealed via Instagram on Tuesday that she’s “come to the heartbreaking decision to not return as a full time cast member on the upcoming season of Summer House.”

“Obviously this decision didn’t come without a tremendous amount of thought,” she added. “Ultimately, I just need to trust my gut. If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full time capacity. The network, production, my cast, and especially all of you deserve that.”

“Right now I need to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me — my company, my people, and of course myself,” she continued. “I’m so grateful that my NBCU/Bravo and Truly Original family understand this and have supported whatever decision I chose to reach.”

She highlighted that she “was fortunate enough to be able to take a step back season 4 as well, and it ended up working out better than [she] imagined,” and proceeded to tease potential future cameos.

“However I’m involved this summer, you can bet I’ll be rooting for another incredible season from my Summer House fam,” she gushed. “My goodness, season 9 you guys!!! Best of luck and sending so much love.”

Summer House alum Stephen McGee took to the comments section of Olivera’s post to wish her well, commenting, “Love you always!! Cue Summer Girls by LFO”

Meanwhile fellow Bravolebrities Alex Propson and Bradley Carter also showed some love in the comments section.

According to a May 28 network press release, Season 8 of Summer House was “pacing to be the most watched in franchise history in both the 18-49 demo and total viewers.”

Olivera first appeared on Summer House as a full-time cast member in the show’s sophomore season, making the show’s most recent season her seventh, per Page Six. She also appeared on Season 3 of Winter House.

She took part in the reality series’ two-part Season 8 reunion, which also featured co-stars Lindsay Hubbard, Carl Radke, Gabby Prescod, West Wilson, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Ciara Miller, Jesse Solomon, and Paige DeSorbo.

In February, Cooke told Decider that he didn’t think Olivera wanted to film this past season with Hubbard following Season 7 drama, which they fortunately resolved in what Cooke called a “180 over the course of effectively like a month.” Meanwhile, Hubbard cast doubt on Olivera not wanting to film alongside her, telling Decider, “I don’t know if that’s how Danielle felt at all because we had sat down for lunch before filming started and we had a great lunch and we were great.”

“You know, we were rebuilding at the beginning of summer and it didn’t take us a long time at all to really just get back into our Danielle and Lindsay friendship,” Hubbard added. “So, yeah. I can’t speak to [whether] Danielle said that or not, but no, I didn’t feel that way.”
