Jax Taylor Jealously Feared Brittany Cartwright Was Going To “Hook Up With Tom Hardy” At ‘The Bikeriders’ Premiere

They may be separated, but even jilted lovers like Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright can still get jealous.

The Valley stars appeared to be back on good terms during a recent episode of their podcast, When Reality Hits with Jax and Brittany. As Cartwright dished that she recently got the opportunity to attend the premiere of Tom Hardy and Austin Butler‘s latest feature The Bikeriders, she revealed that Taylor spent the entire night texting her because he was “jealous.”

“You kept texting me last night saying stuff like, ‘What are you doing? Who are you with?’ ’Cause you thought actually that I was going to find some magical way to be able to hook up with Tom Hardy at the premiere party. I was like, ‘What?’” she said on the podcast.

Taylor claimed that Cartwright began teasing him. “She texted me back, ‘You want to be a flower boy in our wedding?’ And I was like, ‘You son of a b*tch,'” he said.

Cartwright added with a laugh, “I said, ‘He just proposed to me. We’re going to the bathroom.'”

Considering Taylor’s history of infidelity, not many VPR fans could blame Cartwright for riding off into the sunset with Hardy amid their separation and tumultuous relationship.

Taylor famously cheated on Cartwright at least once while starring on Vanderpump Rules. In Season 6, Taylor admitted to cheating on her with their SUR coworker Faith Stowers. He then broke up with Cartwight, which she said was “a major kick in the head” considering he “had already embarrassed me so much.”

There were also rumors recently swirling that Taylor was already sleeping with someone in April after the pair announced their separation.

Their relationship troubles were certainly chronicled in Bravo’s new reality series The Valley, which also features their former VPR co-star Kristen Doute. VPR fans may remember that Taylor previously cheated on his ex-girlfriend Stassi Shchroeder with Doute (who was dating Tom Sandoval at the time) in Season 2.

“I know with Jax there’s always going to be rumors out there,” Brittany said in a confessional on The Valley. “I definitely don’t think that Jax is cheating but, of course, it’s always, always in the back of my mind. It’s like, if he’s not cheating, why do we have so many intimacy issues?”

She later told the cameras, “I can tell that Jax does not appreciate me anymore. He doesn’t like, lift me up, put me on a pedestal, make me feel good about myself. I just feel like we’ve been together so long that he doesn’t care to make that effort anymore. That stopped a while ago. And if that doesn’t change, I don’t know what’s going to happen with us.”

Bravo fans should expect to see more of Taylor and Cartwright. The Valley has already been renewed for a second season on Bravo. Season 2 will begin filming soon, but a release date has not yet been announced.
