Miranda Cosgrove Reveals The Series She’s “Not Entirely Sure” She Made: “This Is Gonna Sound Insane”

For someone like Miranda Cosgrove, it might be difficult to (Lilo &) Stitch all of your past acting and voice credits together.

The Drake and Josh alum recently took part in an “Autocomplete Interview” for WIRED, in which she was tasked with answering a selection of the most searched questions about her on Google. Eventually, she was met with the following search: “miranda cosgrove lilo and stitch.”

“People think I was in Lilo & Stitch, but I wasn’t. This is gonna sound insane, but I’m not entirely sure if I was in Lilo & Stitch or not,” she teased with a chuckle, per Entertainment Weekly. “If I was, it was maybe just one line, but I don’t think I was.”

While Cosgrove is not credited on the original animated 2002 film, IMDb cites two episodes of the spin-off series in which Cosgrove lent her voice, as highlighted by EW.

Elsewhere in the interview, Cosgrove reflected on starring in School of Rock at only nine years old, deeming the 2003 film “one of the first things [she] ever did in acting.”

“I got to go to New York, which was so much fun,” she recalled. “I had only been on a plane one other time in my life before I went to film this movie, and I got to stay in Manhattan for five months in a hotel and order room service and hang out with all the other kids in the movie.”

Cosgrove’s Mother of the Bride co-star Brooke Shields praised Cosgrove’s work as a child actress in an interview with DECIDER, citing “the hours and hours [she] spent with [her] girls, watching her.”

“I had to really readjust, and say to myself, ‘No, this is a young actress. She’s not a little baby. She’s 30. She’s a consummate professional,'” she said of working with the iCarly star. “I had to not let myself fangirl.”
