ShereĆ© Whitfield is defending Kenya Moore amid her controversial exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. According to Whitfield, the long-running Bravo series will “sink” without any of its OG cast members.

TMZ previously reported that Moore parted ways with the network mid-way through filming Season 16 after she allegedly displayed posters of newbie Brittany Eady performing oral sex at last month’s grand opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa.

“I hate to see my girl Kenya go out like that,” Whitfield told TMZ. “As an OG, itā€™s kind of hard to sit back and watch the show kind of slowly sink the way it is, so Iā€™m not happy. I donā€™t like it.”

According to TMZ’s sources, Moore ā€” who starred in 11 seasons of the show after joining in 2012 ā€” could potentially come back at a later date. But in the meantime, she may be pursuing legal options.

As for whether she has any advice for Moore, Whitfield said, “Kenya is a savage. I know sheā€™s not going down easy or quick, so Iā€™m just going to sit back and wait and see what happens.”

Whitfield also admitted she would “never say never” about returning to the show after exiting for the third time this year, noting that “if the coin is right, I just might.”

She added, “An OGā€™s presence is always welcome or needed on the series ā€” no matter what capacity.”

Moore, for her part, has denied engaging in any form of “revenge porn” against Eady.

“I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail,” she wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) after the rumors began to swirl. “I have always been vindicated.”

Following news of her departure, Moore wrote on X, “#TEAMTWIRLFOREVER You are the best fans anyone could ever ask for. and I love you all so very much. Always and forever.”

Whitfield isn’t the only RHOA alum to stand up for Moore. Kandi Burruss, who recently left the show after 14 seasons, called Moore’s exit from the series “sad” on Amazon Live.

“I feel like this is the end of an era,” Burruss said, per Deadline. “I donā€™t care who disagrees. I feel like itā€™s the end of an era. It doesnā€™t matter if you didnā€™t like her or whatever. You always gonna need somebody who doesnā€™t mind being real and keeping it 100 on camera, pushing the story, meaning like bringing up things that other people are trying to avoid.”
