Savannah Chrisley made her political stance loud and clear at the 2024 Republican National Convention when she compared her parents’ convictions to former President Donald Trump‘s legal woes.

Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley were initially sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison after being found guilty of bank and tax fraud charges. However, Julie’s sentence was dismissed last month by federal appeals judges.

Savannah, their 26-year-old daughter, took to the RNC Tuesday night (July 16) to slam the “rogue prosecutors” who handled her parents’ case and to throw her full support behind Trump as he faces off against President Joe Biden in November’s election.

“My family was persecuted by rogue prosecutors in Fulton County due to our public profile. I know. Fulton County. They know how to do it, don’t they?” she said, referring to Trump’s election interference case in the Fulton County Superior Court.

“Due to our public profile and conservative beliefs, they accused my parents of fraud when really we were defrauded by a dishonest business partner who, and let’s not forget, the government gave full immunity to,” Savannah continued. “We suffered warrantless rage and harassment. One of the officials even had my father’s face on a dart board in his office.”

The former reality star then recalled what the prosecutor said in what she referred to as the “most heavily Democrat county in the state” in front of a judge appointed by former President Barack Obama.

“He called us ‘the Trumps of the South,'” Savannah said. “He meant it as an insult. But let me tell ya, boy, I wear it as a badge of honor.”

She went on to blast the “two-faced” justice system, telling the applauding audience, “Just look at what they’re doing to President Trump all while — let’s face it — Hunter Biden is roaming around free and attending classified meetings.”

She added, “And, let’s face it, look at what they’re doing to countless Christians and conservatives that the government has labeled extremists or even worse. Meanwhile, the Democrats are releasing actual violent offenders who have hurt innocent people.”

Savannah demanded that American citizens “rise above the persecution,” “hold rogue prosecutors accountable” and “expose the Democrats’ corruption.”
