The Bachelorette’s Jenn Tran and her 15 remaining men made it to Week 3, and now more than ever before, Bachelor Nation will be Seated for Season 21.

After Jenn’s historic premiere and a string of successful first dates, Episode 3 featured a romantic one-on-one in Melbourne, a PG-13 group date that had host Jesse Palmer saying the words “raging libido,” a second group date that got hearts racing, the season’s first self-elimination, and lots more Devin Drama™.

From beginning to end, Episode 3 of Jenn’s season was quality reality television. The two-hour installment delivered jaw-dropping sexual tension, exciting wardrobes and location shoots, unique dates, moving moments of vulnerability, and so much mess. Between one man’s decision to drop a bomb on his way out of Australia; a self-proclaimed “Love Virgin” choosing to prematurely utter the L-word; and lingering feuds between Sam M., Thomas N., and Devin, the episode turned out to be Season 21’s most eventful yet.

Wondering who got Jenn Tran’s Episode 3 one-on-one date? Who snagged the group date roses? Who self-eliminated? And who went home during Week 3 of The Bachelorette? Decider’s Season 21, Episode 3 recap has you covered.

Jenn Tran and Spencer Conley’s One-On-One Date Recap: Golden Retriever Energy

The sole one-on-one date of Episode 3 went to Spencer Conley, America’s sweetheart — I mean, America’s pet portrait entrepreneur. Before the 30-year-old from Dallas, Texas got his date card, he addressed his fellow contestants, asking that they focus their attention as a group on Jenn rather than beef with each other. His plea ultimately went unheard (more on that later), but he got some time alone with Jenn, and in the end, that’s what counts!

Jenn welcomed Spencer and his “Golden Retriever Energy” into a helicopter to see the Great Ocean Road and the Twelve Apostles, a group of limestone cliffs near Port Campbell National Park. From putting her seatbelt on to pouring champagne and comforting her in the sky, Spencer showed up and proved he could be “a safe space” for Jenn during the day. Then at night, he opened up and let his walls down a bit, sharing that his ex fiancé cheated on him shortly before their wedding, which sent him to a dark place. Despite his heartbreak, Spencer assured Jenn that he’s “more ready than ever” to be engaged again. The two bonded over similar experiences dating the wrong people and shared some kisses in front of a fireworks show.

Did Spencer Get The Rose? You bet! This Golden Retriever was a good boy.

The Bachelorette Group Date 1 Recap: Love Down Under

At the top of Episode 3, Jesse Palmer issued the following warning: “Tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette contains images of a graphic nature, including scantily clad men thrusting and gyrating. If you have a weak heart, or a raging libido, viewer discretion is advised.” Why? Because Dylan, Marcus, Thomas A., John M., Grant, Jonathan, Sam N., Tomas N., Sam M., and Devin headed to the historic Forum Theatre in Melbourne to get their Magic Mike on.

If you have a weak heart or a raging libido consider skipping this section of the recap, too, because simply hearing about all the flexing, the bouncing pecks, the oiled up bods, and the bold strip teases might get you — as Sam M. would say — bothered. Oh, and we made GIFs. Very hot GIFs.

Jenn welcomed four members of the Australia’s Thunder From Down Under group (based in Las Vegas) to teach her guys to step outside their comfort zones and learn three of the top male stripper moves: the body roll, the dolphin dive, and the grip and rip.

After a quick training sesh, fellas like Sam M., Dylan, and Jonathon were ready to take the stage, while others like Devin and Sam N. (who had a bruised ego and a bruised thumb) were dreading their moments in the spotlight. In the words of the Love Virgin himself, “I am mortified when I find out what we’re going to be doing. I didn’t come here to strip. I came here for love.” Once Jenn assured everyone that she was looking for the best personality — not the best strip tease or abs — the men got into their (tear-away) costumes, popped in some mandatory protective cups, and choreographed their routines.

With Australia’s sister Bachelorettes Elly and Becky helping Jenn judge, the competition commenced with sexy businessman Dylan (Mr. C E-Make You OOOO!), sexy astronaut Marcus (Neil Realstrong), sexy “snake whisperer” Tomas, sexy boxer Grant (Mr. Eight Rounds), sexy nerd Thomas N., sexy “Dr. Chocolate” John M., and sexy firefighter Jonathon aka “Jonny Fire Cheeks.” The Bachelorette had Bachelor Nation screaming “Yes, chef!” when Chef Fluster Sam M. came out in an apron to get cookin’.

In a twist, Devin, who called the date his “worst nightmare” (more on that later), overcame his insecurities and gave the show of a lifetime as “The Dirty Detective.” The show was genuinely a blast to behold, but it came to an unexpected halt when The Love Virgin Sam N. took the stage, grabbed the mic, and opted to announce he’s “already falling in love with” Jenn rather than take part in the challenge. Jaws dropped. Men were stunned. And an argument about whether or not Sam N. even knew what being in love meant broke out amongst the group.

Who Was Crowned Mr Love Down Under? As far as the competition went, Jonathon brought the heat. But heading into the group date cocktail party, the rose was still up for grabs…

Episode 3’s first group date was so eventful that the chaos between contestants carried long into the night, disrupting the first of several dramatic cocktail parties this week. As Sam N. spiraled over his premature love confession, Sam M. and Thomas N. snickered and complained about him behind his back, and Devin took issue with their immature behavior. After apologizing to Jenn for “being the corniest guy in the room,” Sam N. confronted the guys and Devin came to his defense, saying, “You don’t need to backtrack anything you said…You have no reason to feel sorry for what you do and who you are. You deserve to feel how you feel. And anybody who decides that’s not right has their own issues.”

Devin went up against Sam M. and Thomas N. again, but he also took time to open up to Jenn about what a big deal the group date was for him, sharing his issues with weight and body image as a kid. Despite Sam M. and Jenn’s palpable physical chemistry, it was Devin’s vulnerability and efforts to take the high road that paid off in the end.

Who Got The Rose? Brace yourself, Sam M. stans. The stem went to Devin.

The Bachelorette Group Date 2 Recap: An Ultimatum For Aaron

Ahead of Episode 3’s second group date — featuring Hakeem, Austin, Jeremy, and Aaron — the Erb twin allegedly got a dramatic call from his air force supervisor, informing him that his fighter pilot training dates came through and he had a day to decide if he wanted to remain on the show or pursue the dream he’s been working towards for over a year. When he learned the group date was at a racetrack and he was only guy with experience driving stick shift and right handed, the odds seemed in Aaron’s favor. But Austin won the Bachelorette Broadsider 400, and based on Jenn’s convos with the other guys at the cocktail party, her relationship with Aaron didn’t seem like it was where it needed to be at for him to defer his dream.

Who Got The Rose? Jeremy snagged the second group date stem.

The Bachelorette Season 21, Episode 3 Cocktail Party Recap: “A Crapshow”

At the top of the night, Aaron pulled Jenn aside, told her about his dilemma, and said farewell — but not without throwing his fellow contestants under the bus and raising a ton of doubt in her mind about their intentions. On his way out, Aaron told Jenn some guys aren’t ready for an engagement and some are here for the wrong reasons. He refused to name names (Coward Behavior), so after he left, Jenn confronted her group and said, “I’ve made the wrong decisions in the past and I’m not going to do that anymore. So if you think that this is not the place that you should be then you need to get out. Got it?”

As the guys tried to sort out Aaron’s comments were aimed towards, the Sam M., Sam N., Thomas N., and Devin feud raged on, much to the dismay of *checks notes* everyone. So did any of the four guys go home?
