Tori Spelling is looking back on her final conversation with the late Shannen Doherty.

She and Jennie Garth reflected on the loss of their Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star — who died on July 13 after battling breast cancer — on Tuesday’s (July 23) installment of their 90210MG podcast. Spelling expressed gratitude for her recent time spent with Doherty, noting that she’s “had a lot of death in my life” and doesn’t “believe in regrets,” per Page Six.

“But I have a lot of regrets that I didn’t have that time to have a second chance to get past stuff from the past and look at all the good things and really talk it out and have that last conversation,” she continued. “And I feel like she and I had that. I’m super grateful for that.”

Despite seeing Doherty at a recent convention, Garth, on the other hand, said she “wished ” she could have reconnected with Doherty “on a deeper level” more recently like Spelling had.

“I wished that I had had that opportunity because I didn’t really get to sit down and have like [a] heartfelt conversation with her recently, but I was very glad that you did,” she added.

Spelling appeared on Doherty’s Let’s Be Clear podcast in April, where they hashed out the “pivotal moment” in which they believe their friendship went awry while working together on the hit FOX drama. Doherty had welcomed other co-stars of hers onto the podcast, including Jason Priestley and Brian Austin Green.

As noted by Page Six, Doherty has received a lot of love online from both her Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed co-stars in the wake of her passing at age 53. She also received an on-air tribute from Kelly Ripa on Live with Kelly and Mark. In her own Instagram post shared on July 14, Garth praised her and Doherty’s “connection” as “real and honest.”

“We were so often pitted against each other but none of that reflected the truth of our real relationship which was one built on mutual respect and admiration,” she penned, in part. “She was courageous, passionate, determined and very loving and generous. I will miss her and will always honor her deeply in my heart and in my memories.”
