Another week, and still no new episodes of The View. The ladies are officially one week into their summer vacay, and while fans miss their favorite daytime talk hosts, we are certainly happy they’re taking some much needed time off.
The last time the hosts were live on the air was Friday, Aug. 2. Since the beginning of their hiatus, ABC has been playing reruns of the show in its normal time slot so fans can catch up on anything they may have missed from Season 27 before Season 28 kicks off.
In their last show of the season, the ladies spent time chatting about the upcoming presidential election with Pete Buttigieg, the experience of menopause, and who on the cast is a “purger” vs. a “hoarder” when moving — during which Sara Haines got roasted for using all of her allotted boxes for the move to The View‘s new studio in downtown Manhattan.

Why Isn’t The View On Today?
The View is currently taking a four-week scheduled hiatus. ABC will be playing reruns in place of the live show during its normal time slot, so fans can still get their daily dose of talk show TV without a major change in their schedule. We have this week’s rerun schedule below, so read on!
When Will The View Be Back With New Episodes?
The View is expected to return live once again in September. According to the schedule provided by ABC, The View will be running reruns through Monday, Sept. 2, or Labor Day. The View has traditionally always returned after Labor Day, and from the looks of it, this year will not be one to break that.
