Emily in Paris Season 4, Part 1 premiered on Netflix Thursday, August 15, and the five eventful episodes left fans craving more romance, fashion, drama, chaos, and answers.

The first half of Season 4 featured several makeups, breakups, shocking reveals, and ongoing storylines that will undoubtedly be explored further in Part 2. We left off with a ludicrous lube dilemma, a dying Michelin star, a major pregnancy reveal, a promise of Eurovision, and more. But because Netflix opted for a split season, fans will have to wait until Season 4, Part 2 premieres on September 12 to see what else is in store.

To hold you over, we asked Emily in Paris creator Darren Star, along with cast members Lily Collins, Lucas Bravo, Ashley Park, Lucien Laviscount, and Bruno Gouery to tease what’s to come. And they didn’t disappoint.

Star kicked things off with the following epic tease: “To me, Part 2 is Part 1 on steroids in every way. Drama. Locations. Romance. Everything.” Curious what the rest of the cast had to say? More Emily in Paris Season 4, Part 2 teases await!

  1. We’ll See “Highs And Lows” Of Emily And Gabriel’s Relationship

When chatting with Decider about Emily and Gabriel’s Season 4, Part 1 romance, Lily Collins told Decider, “I definitely had heard the rumor that they were going to finally give it a go. So I was like, ‘Darren, is this real?’ He’s like, ‘Yeah! And then we’re gonna have a second drop in September, and they’re gonna see it play out longer, and all the intricacies of that relationship — the highs, the lows, all of the above.'”

While discussing Emily and Gabriel’s romantic “Dancing in the Moonlight” scene, Collins also said, “There’s so many more dynamic cinematic moments this season, which I’m excited for people to see…I think that people have been waiting for a long time to have a moment to themselves. But a moment to themselves only lasts so long. So that’s when drama ensues and it gets complicated again.”

  2. What Happens To Alfie?

Curious what’s it all about, Alfie? Join the club! While members of Team Gabriel were delighted by the romantic twists in Season 4, Part 1, members of Team Alfie (like myself) were left fearing for Lucien Laviscount’s future on the show. So is this the last we’ve seen of Alfie? Not according to Laviscount and Collins.

“No, no, no, no. We haven’t seen the last of Alfie. Look, Emily also works with him. He’s such a stand-up, wonderful human and such a great guy, and I think Emily really respects and values him,” Collins said. “He’s such an amazing addition to our show. And so I think even if the relationship evolves, it doesn’t mean that it’s completely over. So I’m excited for people to see how that’s handled, and I think it’s done very well and very respectfully.”

“I definitely don’t think you’ve seen the last of Alfie,” Laviscount echoed. “I think that choices are made in the heat of the moment, whatever that might be. But I think for Alfie, it’s the first time he’s really gone to depth with how he actually really feels. It might just be a little bit too late in this instance, but the respect he has for Emily and their friendship, I think, will blossom. And who knows what’s going to happen next, really?” As for Part 2, Laviscount says his character will be focused on “owning the road to recovery.”

  3. Camille’s Pregnancy News

One of the major bombs Emily in Paris Season 4, Part 2 needs to drop is the heartbreaking news Camille learned in Episode 5, which is that she’s not pregnant; her test was a false positive. After learning that he won’t be getting a Michelin star from Luc’s girlfriend, Gabriel ended Season 4, Part 1 in surprisingly high spirits, telling Emily and Camille that he still felt like the luckiest man in the world because he had a loving girlfriend and a baby on the way. Rather than tell Gabriel the truth in that moment, Camille turned down a glass of champagne and let him continue believing she was carrying his child. So it sounds like the truth will come out when Emily in Paris returns.

“She’s not lying. She just didn’t tell him at that moment,” Star assured Decider. “It wasn’t a moment to say something.”

When asked if more love triangle/pregnancy drama lies ahead for Emily, Gabriel, and Camille, Collins said, “There’s definitely more drama to come” before teasing the season ahead as “vulnerable.”

  4. Are You Ready For Eurovision? And A Mindy Love Triangle Perhaps?

Speaking of love triangles, Mindy and Benoît (Kevin Dias) are back on stage together as they prep for Eurovision, which it sounds like we’ll see in Season 4, Part 2. In terms of musical performances, we got a stellar “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” duet in Part 1, which featured definite flirty vibes between the two bandmates. According to Ashley Park, more music and potential love triangle drama between her, Benoît, and Nico (Paul Forman) awaits.

“I think [“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”] was a fun representation of having to be in the space and really sell something with somebody that you were with. It’s actually, I believe, the same struggle that Alfie’s having with Emily. Can we be still in the same space, in the same city, and care about each other, respect each other, but not cross that line?” As for Eurovision, Park said, “I’m very excited for people to see that musical stuff in the second part,” adding, “You’re gonna see parts of Mindy that you have not seen before.”

  5. Buckle Up For More Luc

Bruno Gouery showed the world more of Luc in Season 4, Part 1 as his character navigated work and his relationship with Marianne. According to the actor, there’s more Luc to come in Part 2. “I think they could become soulmates,” Gouery said about his character and his fraudulent Michelin inspector girlfriend. “You will discover so many things in the next part of the season on the personal and private life of Luc.”

  6. Emily, I’ve Got A Feeling We’re Not In Paris Anymore

By now, it’s no secret that Emily in Paris is switching up the scenery in Season 4, Part 2. For months, fans have known the show filmed in Rome, Italy, because Emily (and potentially more characters) is headed on a Roman Holiday. But we now know she’s also headed to Megéve in the French Alps, home of Camille’s family’s ski chalet.

“I would say that Emily kicks into high vacay mode and she puts a phone down a little bit more on a holiday,” Collins confirmed.

When asked to tease the rest of Season 4, Gouery said, “There is a word: bellezza. It means beauty.” We see what you did there, Luc. And we can’t wait for the bellezza to come.

While we wait to see what Emily in Paris has in store for Emily, Gabriel, Alfie, and the rest of the crew, read on for everything we know about Season 4, Part 2, including premiere date, time, and more.
