‘Gentleman Jack’ (Season 2)

The first season of Gentleman Jack saw Anne Lister tirelessly working to build a legacy at Shibden Hall with coal mining while wooing the beautiful Ann Walker. The second season still draws inspiration from Anne’s real-life coded diaries, but also promises more intrigue and chaos. Fresh on her honeymoon, Suranne Jones steps into Anne Lister’s boots once again. While we’d all love to see Anne and Ann live happily ever after, Anne Lister’s romantic past starts to catch up with her. Naturally, Ann Walker is not okay with Anne’s former flame inserting herself back into Anne’s life. Coupled with political pushes for the Tory party in 1830s England, the new season will give you all the Victorian twists and turns that you were hoping for – and so much more.
