As technology and the web become integral to daily life, governments are enforcing stricter accessibility laws. It's no longer acceptable to have websites that are inaccessible to people who are blind or have low vision. Key Points: 🔹 In Europe, the European Accessibility Act mandates accessibility for ATMs, banking services, PCs, phones, TV equipment, transport, e-books, and e-commerce. 🔹 In the US, the ADA is increasingly enforced, with rising legal actions and courts favoring equal access. The message is clear: Inaction is not an option. Large organizations must assess the accessibility of their products, services, and communications to avoid significant fines and protect their brand reputation.
