We're excited to welcome 19 aspiring IT talents at BEC! Yes, this week marks the start of the BEC Talent Program, our one-year development program aimed at helping graduates grow their IT careers. 🎉 Our team has just grown by 📊 13 business analysts and 💻 6 software engineers. In August, our newest talents will continue onboarding, training and integration. Neurodiversitet er lige som andre former for diversitet en styrke – hvis man skaber de rigtige forudsætninger for medarbejderen. Det er min klare overbevisning, og det var en central pointe for debatten i dag på Folkemødet sammen med Pernille Vastrup fra ATP Carsten Lassen fra Specialisterne Danmark Danmark og Karina Bundgaard fra Autismeforeningen Hvordan kan vi finans- og it-branchen blive bedre til at rumme neurodivergente og sætte deres talent i spil? Vores egne erfaringer fra samarbejdet med AspIT er at det er særligt vigtigt finde det rigtige match og sikre at teamet er klar til at modtage medarbejderen. Det har vist sig at være en god investering i loyale medarbejdere, hvor størstedelen er fortsat hos BEC i det job de blev tilbudt efter endt praktikperiode. Panelets samlede råd handlede derudover om at udvise nysgerrighed og åbenhed, at arbejde aktivt med fordomme, og at vigtigheden af praktik ikke skal undervurderes. Særligt for mindre virksomheder, kan der forståeligt nok være en bekymring for en bureaukratisk belastningen, som de kan have svært ved at rumme. Men jeg vil gerne fremhæve @Carsten Lassen’s SMVdanmark om, at der er behov for et tæt samarbejde med erhvervslivet, hvis vi skal bringe disse talenter i spil, som fungerer anderledes end flertallet, men har masser at bidrage med. Og det skal vi!
