Electrification of off-highway vehicles is not as simple as just swapping out one engine for another. There is a myriad of connected systems that must be considered and reconfigured, as this article in SAE International makes abundantly clear. Case in point are the issues that MPG Makine Prodüksiyon Grubu faced in designing a truck-mounted electric crane, particularly the need for a torque-limiting pump. The solution? The Danfoss Series 45 pump with electronic torque limiting, which proactively and automatically maximizes system pressure in milliseconds for available torque while preventing stalls. “Thanks to the Series 45 ETL pump, we are able to meet the different demands of our customers, not only electrification,” said Veysel ALVER, general manager at MPG. Danfoss Power Solutions is taking connectivity to the next level! We’ve expanded the AxisPro® #proportionalvalves communication capabilities even further to include Ethernet/IP and EtherCAT protocols on top of the Profinet and CANopen protocols. This expansion gives you greater control and easier integration into an expanded range of applications. The valve’s embedded intelligence simplifies traditionally complex setup and control operations, and the plug-and-play design reduces machine build time and installation costs. More great news! The new Pro-FX® Configure v2 software is available for configuration of AxisPro valves utilizing a streamlined workflow, wizard-based setup and parameter-based, real-time tuning. The data center industry is hot … literally and figuratively. With the exponential growth in the energy consumed by and heat generated within today’s computing systems, they must utilize advanced liquid-cooling solutions. #Liquidcooling offers greater efficiency than air cooling, a significantly reduced carbon footprint, and improved heat transfer. The bottom line is there is no room for leaks, failures, or downtime. That’s where Danfoss’ OCP Open Rack V3 Blind Mate Quick connector (ORV3 BMQC) comes in. Our BMQC features an interchangeable design that complies with OCP standards, a blind connection with radial and angular alignment, plus high fluid compatibility and corrosion resistance. Simply put, today’s data centers need the dependability and ease of use of the #Danfoss OCP ORV3 BMQC. With construction machinery emitting 400 metric tons of CO2 annually, decarbonizing construction equipment is key to meeting our climate goals. Technologies that increase productivity while reducing carbon emissions and operating costs are available. With solutions such as digital displacement, Danfoss is leading the way in decarbonization of heavy-duty machines. In Danfoss North America’s recent EnVisioneering Exchange #podcast, “Decarbonizing Construction with Digital Displacement,” Luke Wadsley of Danfoss Power Solutions discusses digital displacement technology and its potential to decarbonize the construction industry by reducing carbon emissions and energy losses from hydraulic #excavators. Check out the excerpt below and listen to the full episode: https://bit.ly/44AEyaS #Decarbonization #DigitalDisplacement #EnVisioneeringExchange

We wanted to take a moment to spotlight the innovative team at our site in Reynosa, Mexico. They've made a huge leap in responsible resource management by capturing and reusing water from their air-conditioning systems, reducing water consumption by a whopping 65.5% annually! Through designing a smart piping system, they’re channeling this water to storage tanks, which then gets used for employee toilets, production processes, and even irrigation. Check out the video to see how they're making a difference and congrats to the Danfoss Reynosa team for driving #sustainableinnovation! #EngineeringTomorrow #WeAreDanfoss #Whyee
In Reynosa, Mexico, the Danfoss Power Solutions' Fluid Conveyance plant has taken a remarkable leap towards responsible resource management. By capturing and reusing the water formed inside their air-conditioning systems, they have successfully reduced water consumption. The factory’s technicians have designed a piping system that channels the captured water to various storage tanks within the facility. From here, the water is efficiently distributed to employee toilets, production processes requiring water, and the irrigation system. Operating nearly non-stop, the plant collects over 6 million liters of water annually through its 18 large air-conditioning systems. This impressive achievement has led to a remarkable 65.5% reduction in the factory's total annual water usage, in line with our 2030 ESG ambition. Happy Pride Month! At Danfoss, we take Pride in the diversity of our people. They are the foundation of our success. As part of our continuous efforts to create an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive, we established 46 active Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). They are globally organized under five themes: Abilities, Gender, Generations, Multicultural and Nations and Pride. Danfoss’ ERGs create an environment of belonging through communities of shared identity and interests. They also help us identify and remove existing barriers for inclusion. As we celebrated Pride Month, our Pride ERGs took the lead in promoting organizational understanding on how to be a good ally — an essential building block for an inclusive and safe workplace. As global Pride celebrations end, our joint efforts with our Pride ERGs continue. We are committed to shaping Danfoss into an even more inclusive workplace where everyone thrives and has a sense of belonging, regardless of how they identify. Happy Pride!
